Welcome!
I am a licensed Esthetician, and Registered Nurse in the state of New York. Member of and insured by Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP) with advanced training and certifications in chemical peels, microneedling; DPN (dermatosis papulosa nigra aka benign “moles”), seborrheic keratosis, and skin tag treatment, as well as dermaplaning and microdermabrasion. My specialty is corrective skincare services for all skin, with additional specialized training and certification in treating deeply melanated skin tones. I also provide organic hair removal services for the upper lip, chin, and jaw.
My passion for skincare is personal, as I battled with skincare issues, which included adult acne and hyperpigmentation. Seeking treatment with a licensed Esthetician, a good home care regimen, along with living a healthier, reduced-stress lifestyle, helped to restore my skin to a healthy state, and increase my confidence. Now, I'm in the position to do that for others!

HEALTHY SKIN BEGINS WITH HEALTHY HABITS

Using sunscreen daily (SPF 30 or higher) will protect your skin from sun exposure.

Maintaining a healthy, well-balanced diet

Try to avoid smoking and consumption of excess alcohol

Drink plenty of water (use this calculation to determine your daily water intake: Your body weight divided by 2, divided by 8. The number you get is the amount of 8oz glasses of water it is recommended you consume/day. For example: weight is 150lbs/2/8 = about 9, 8oz glasses of water).

Get adequate rest (at least 7-8 hours per night).

Change your pillowcase on a regular basis (more often if your skin is prone to breakouts).

Keep active; try to exercise at least 3-5x’s/week

Establish a good at home skin care routine with the use of quality products for your skin type and condition.

Maintain your stress levels; consider mediation, yoga, quiet time for yourself when possible.
